Day-to-day feels fine.
The trend tells the truth.

You wake up, check your weight, measure your blood pressure, drain the cycler. Numbers look normal. Same as yesterday. Same as last week.

But fluid is building up. Gram by gram. Blood pressure is creeping up: a point here, a point there. Each reading on its own looks fine. Put them side by side over a month, and you see something different.

The problem isn't measuring. It's remembering what you measured three weeks ago, and noticing when things start to drift.

Morning weight · 30 days

One reading says nothing. Thirty say everything.
Morning weight over 30 days 73.0 72.5 72.0 Day 1 Day 15 Day 30 +0.4 kg / week 72.6 kg today · looks fine
Retention: +1.4 kg in 3 weeks.
Invisible day-to-day.

Simple routine. Twice a day. That's it.

01

Set up once

Tell dialysisPal which dialysate you use and how your cycler is configured. Two minutes. You don't do this again unless something changes.

02

Log in seconds

Every morning: UF, dwell time, weight, BP, pulse. Every evening: drainage, weight, BP, pulse. Tap tap tap. Done.

03

See the trends

Charts show what's happening over time. Weight climbing? Ultrafiltration dropping? You'll see it before you feel it.

Bring it to your nephrologist

Export a clean PDF or CSV for your next appointment: signed, dated, and already in the language your doctor thinks in.

Only what you'll use.
Nothing you won't.

Fast logging isn't a marketing claim. It's a design constraint: every feature has to earn its place against the clock.

Fast logging

Open, enter your numbers, put your phone away. The whole process takes seconds. That's not marketing, that's design.

Trend charts

Weight, blood pressure, UF, and drainage visualized over time. Spot patterns before they become problems.

Export for your doctor

PDF or CSV reports you can bring to your next nephrologist appointment, or email when version 2 arrives.

Apple Health

HealthKit integration means weight and blood pressure flow to and from Apple Health automatically.

Private iCloud sync

Data backs up across your iOS devices via iCloud. Privately. Not in some cloud folder, just safe, automatic, invisible.

Catches your typos

Enter 700 kg instead of 70? The app asks if you meant something else. Simple sanity checking, nothing more.

Fully accessible

VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, WCAG AA compliant. Healthcare tools should work for everyone.

Offline

No internet? No problem. Your tracking doesn't stop because your wifi did.

Bilingual

English and German. Switch anytime inside the app.

I built this because
Airtable was too slow.

Hi. I'm Alex. I've been on peritoneal dialysis since 2016.

Like most PD patients, I started with pen and paper. Then a badly copied spreadsheet from my nephrologist. Then Airtable, which worked, honestly. But opening it, tapping through to the right table, entering my numbers, waiting for it to sync… that took one or two minutes. Every morning. Every evening.

Doesn't sound like much, right? But it added up. And eventually I thought: I'm a developer. I can build something faster than this.

So I did. I've been using it myself for almost a year now. It takes a couple of seconds each session. No menus. No bloat. Just the numbers that matter, captured and ready to look at whenever I need them.

Now I'm sharing it.

A few things, upfront

What this is.
What it isn't.

v1

Version one.

It works well: I use it every single night, but I'm already working on v2: notes, mood tracking, catheter-site photos, voice memos.

€4.99

One-time, that's it.

No subscription. No ads. No analytics. No account required. Your data lives on your phone.

1:1

Not a medical device company.

Not a startup with investors. Just someone who does PD every night and wanted a tool that respected his time.

Built by a patient. For patients.
